Mayor Daley's Clean & Green

I am pleased to announce that Mayor Daley's "Clean & Green" Spring Clean-Up is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 16, 2011.

As in the past, "Clean & Green" offers individuals as well as community and school groups an opportunity to join with volunteers from the City of Chicago to help make our neighborhoods and communities cleaner and more attractive. We provide brooms, rakes, trash bags and other tools; your students and their sponsors give a little time and bring a lot of spirit to the event. The result is a better and cleaner place for everyone to live, work and do business.

I have attached is a copy of this year's Spring flier. It gives specific information about the program and offers suggestions about how your students, teachers, staff -- and you -- may participate.

If you have immediate questions about the 2011 "Clean & Green" Spring clean-up, please call (312) 744-5036.
